Apparently Democrat John Cherry, one of the leading contenders for his Party’s nomination, is dropping out of the race.
The Republican race is between Hoekstra, Mike Cox, and Rick Snyder, but appears the door is wide open for the Dems.
We are not endorsing any candidate at this point, however we can say one thing with complete certainty: Michigan can, and must, do better than Pete Hoekstra.
Isn’t it interesting that “close linkage to the incumbent Gov. Jennifer Granholm” is a liability, but linkage to Michigan’s worst governor ever, John Engler, is ok? The party that lock-steps together goose-steps together.
No one ever lost an election underestimating the voter’s memory.
Love the work you do. Well done, folks!
I’m confused as to why you are so against Pete and all that he stands for? Afterall, the majority of your opportunities in life have been afforded to you by the success of your families business, which has embraced capitalism more than anyone I know. I guess you’ll embrace capitalism and all the same concepts Pete stands for when it comes to making money, but put on your “grass roots” hat when it’s convenient.
Excellent job in securing this space on the web! I wonder how many other incumbents out there have open domain names? It’s all about checks and balances…something a grandstanding thug like Rep. Hoekstra wouldn’t understand. Although I’m not a Michigander, I hear about this man’s antics all the time, hearing his name is like ipecac for the soul. NOT GOOD
